Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
Build, lead, and mentor a team of advertising technology sales professionals in Japan
Design and execute sales strategies and operational processes to achieve revenue objectives
Foster a high-performance culture with a strong customer-focused mindset
Coach team members to strengthen capabilities and support career progression
Define performance metrics and provide ongoing, structured feedback
Strategic Business Development
Develop and implement a regional advertising technology sales strategy aligned with global direction
Establish and maintain senior-level relationships with major agencies and advertisers
Identify and advance strategic partnership opportunities to accelerate market growth
Lead complex commercial negotiations and customized deal structures
Work closely with cross-functional partners across product, engineering, and solutions teams
Business Planning & Operations
Own annual business planning and revenue forecasting
Set team KPIs and monitor performance against targets
Identify new market opportunities and expansion initiatives
Align priorities and resources with regional and global leadership
Drive operational rigor and continuous process improvement
About the Team
The team focuses on product-led sales enablement and strategic sales preparation. In close collaboration with agency partners and internal sales functions, the group plays a key role in relaying market insights to product development teams. There are frequent opportunities to work cross-regionally with global counterparts and adjacent functions. The team’s impact comes from improving the effectiveness of digital marketing initiatives through data-driven insights and innovative technology solutions.
